Amamah Sardar is a Pakistani-American, NY born artist. She started her comedy career in 2016 and has since expanded outside of stand-up, taking on acting, producing, and writing roles.
She co-wrote and starred in the award winning pilot Girls Aren’t Funny, which one Best Pilot at Laugh after Dark Festival and won best writer at SeriesFest. Girls Aren’t Funny has also been in the Broad Humor Festival, Bushwick Film Festival, and the Big Apple Film Festival, selling out screenings at all.
Amamah’s satire writing has also appeared in McSweeney’s, Flexx Magazine, and Points in Case. She has been in several comedy festivals including SF SketchFest and Rogue Island.
Currently, she hosts a cooking web-series titled, Cooking for Someone’s Daughter, where she teaches comedians how to cook for their dates.
